Widjajono Deputy Minister Died of Respiratory Failure
Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Widjajono Partowidagdo, died while climbing Mount Tambora, Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, Saturday, April 21, 2012 yesterday. Widjajono, born in Magelang, 16 September 1951, climbed the mountain in order to campaign Female Trackers for Lupus, held since 19 April 2012 at Tambora.
Hendri, a doctor who examined Widjajono in post one, says Widjajono died from fatigue and shortness of breath. But economists Ninasapti Triaswati, Widjajono wife, said her husband had no history of heart disease.
The body of a professor of economics and management of oil and gas field Faculty of Earth Sciences and Institute of Technology Bandung Tekmira it was bathed in Sanglah Central Public Hospital, Denpasar, Bali, before being flown to Jakarta. The bodies arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Widjajono Saturday 21 April 2012.
Widjajono, which is known to climb the mountain, was appointed Deputy Minister in October 2011.
